This practical guide, developed by UNFPA with the support of Spanish Cooperation, aims to facilitate the intersectional analysis of census data to identify and address structural inequalities. In a region like Latin America and the Caribbean, one of the most unequal in the world, the intersectional approach makes it possible to make visible the realities of the most marginalized populations, contributing to the design of more inclusive and effective public policies. This tool aligns with the 2030 Agenda's principle of "Leaving no one behind" and strengthens demographic intelligence from a human rights and equity perspective.
