Nearly 40 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Latin America and the Caribbean, a number that continues to rise given the multiple crises hitting the region. Women and girls, including pregnant women, are amongst the most affected by the climate, economic and migration crises.

 

UNFPA is calling on the international community to provide US$102 million to help save the lives and protect the rights of 3.6 million people in Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly women and girls.
